How the First Conversation Goes

A roofer answers and starts with a few plain questions. Where does the leak or damage show up? About how old is the roof, and did anything change after the last storm? When it sounds like we should see the roof in person, we settle on a visit time that fits around your schedule. Before we arrive, we tell you what we plan to check: the roof surface, the attic and the gutters.

Permits come up early, too. If the work on your home needs a city permit or inspection, you hear about it on that first call, and we pull the permit ourselves so the job gets checked the right way. When insurance is part of the picture, we can explain how a claim usually moves along, though your adjuster decides what is covered. There is no form or email inbox here, so calling is the one way to reach us.

Good to Have Ready Before You Call

  1. A rough idea of when the roof was installed or last replaced, even a best guess.
  2. Notes on what you have seen, such as ceiling stains, missing shingles or gutters pulling away.
  3. A few photos taken safely from the ground, which help us picture the problem before we visit.
  4. Your insurance claim number, if you have already filed one for storm damage.
